October 2000….do we or don’t we? That was the question Shain asked Jessica, his young bride of 6 months. It was a big step for such a young couple to make. Do we invest all we have in a plumbing business. New construction? Service only? So many decisions to make and not much money to make them with. And the rest is history.
S & J Plumbing, Inc. has been serving the Pryor and surrounding area for the past 13 years. They have built their company based on honest work and fair prices. Owned by Shain and Jessica Vivion, they have built their company from ground up, starting with Shain and one worker servicing the area with one service truck and the idea that all it takes to make a company successful is good honest work and treating people the way you would like to be treated. They now have six journeyman plumbers, and two office ladies who help keep service calls answered in a short, timely manner.
New construction is definitely not “new” to them. They have the ability and man-power to take care of your plumbing needs whether it be residential, commercial, or industrial, always within a reasonable time frame. From the largest industrial job to your largest investment, your home, they are sure to do a fantastic job, always with the customers wants and desires in mind.
Nothing puts a life on hold like a clogged up toilet. They now have 2 service technicians who are well versed in everyday plumbing issues. From toilets to sewer drains to kitchen garbage disposals, these guys know their stuff. In and out in a timely manner and even clean up after themselves!! Any problem is no problem for them.
Thirteen years in business……sometimes it seems like only yesterday when they started. But a lot of changes have come their way within the last few years. With the economy at its lowest in years, they were able to survive and survive well. They maintained all of their workers, omitting any layoffs when other companies were cutting back. When times are tough, you make better decisions.
Decisions that didn’t come easily, but have proven to be the right ones.
Thirteen years….eight employees. Wonder what 20 years will bring to this couple who decided to “take a chance” in good ole Mayes County.
